Need IT help with XFI download

New hard drive installed and Windows 10 downloaded. I attempt to reinstall XFI 2.05 but keep getting the prompt "Directory c\CComWP XFI 2.0 cannot be created. Enter another path.....". Any ideas?

Instead of C\CComWP XFI 2.0

Try

C:\CComWP XFI 2.0

I forget, doesn't the XFI install routine just give you the default file names? I use windows 10 and I think I just chose the default. Do you have write privileges to the HD?

Brought laptop back to Geek Squad who had installed new HD and Windows 10 a few days earlier. Their answer was they had to change the compatibility mode to Windows 7 and then create the folder and destination for the download. Wish I had a more tech friendly answer.
