OK this is a tough question. I have 2 GN's. One is stock and one is modded. The modded GN is .20 over, 206/206 cam, 100lb springs, totle seal rings with 100% no loss in compression, and ported stock heads, TE61-52 turbo and 3in down pipe, 340 walbro fuel pump and hot wired. Here is the problem: I put the stock turbo on the modded car and the 61-52 turbo on the stock car. The Stock turbo which worked perfectly on the stock and did not smoke. Once on the modded car it started smoking immediatlely. The reason I am doing this is to keep the stock car and sell the modded car. I wanted to swap parts. What is the reason the stock turbo started smoking at idle on the modded car but did not smoke on the stock car? Was this just bad luck or is there a reason? At this time the only thing I swaped are the turbos.
