On my boat I have a kenwood head unit rated at 45X4 peak watts and two speakers rated at 50 peak watts each. I would like to upgrade those speakers and add two more without an amp. What (rms)wattage speaker would be good for this set up?

Adding 2 more efficent coax will not need an amp. Most drop in replacement speakers will do the job fine, anything above 90db is good the higher the better. Don't worry about the powerhandling.

Already installed 4 new pioneer 6.5'' 160w max 30w nominal 91db. Sounds great. Thanks for the input though.
