I have a new to me 87 Grand National. I have not driven the car much on the street(needs tags). After fixing a boost gauge leak and changing some of the vacuum lines it seems slow to build boost and only build to about 10PSI. At WOT the it has 50psi of fuel. It has some kind of chip in but i am not sure what is in it. The waste gate rod has been cut and threaded, but i dont want to adjust anything untill i knom everything is A OK.

Here is the list of mods done to the car
Blue top injectors 36#
Kenne Bell Stainless steel 2 1/2" dual exhaust
Kenne Bell Adj Fuel pressure Reg
Switch panel in ash tray. Not sure what it does
K&N filter
Chrome up pipe
Chrome MAF pipe
Kenne Bell Knock Detector. Not sure it is hooked up

So with the list of mods and what it is doing does it sound right? I am going to do a HOTwire kit and TurboTweak chip in the future i think.

Thank you for everybody help

Brandon

I would pull and verify the chip and get that knock sensor working!!! Double check ALL of the hoses and make sure they are zip tied as well. Then there are some things you want to tweak and check..but definitely get those things locked down...

I pulled the chip to see if i could find any info about it. The only thing on it is the mileage when it was put in.

I have not had any luck finding info about the knock sensor. The car has been built for around 10ish years so the mods have been on it quite a while.

I am slowly going through things before i really get it on the road.

Brandon
