Need some help with putting turbo in.....

I'm trying to put my stock turbo back in, my question is how far into the manifold dose it go down in there? I'm pushing has hard as I can and its not going down in there. any one have any pictures?

I little grease on the rubber seals, block of wood and a rubber mallett works for me. Just take a look down the intake manifold. Make sure the turbo goes all the way down until it stops. Brad

As long as the turbo is clocked correctly it should drop all the way into the brackets for mounting it. I always used the bracket near the throttle body as a guide. Once the stud on the compressor side of the turbo is all the way down you know its in. Also be sure to put the compressor side in straight. If you do not you run the chance of damaging one of the O-rings that seal it which will cause a vacuum leak.
