having some trouble with the gn. the problem is that when I take off from a stop it has a dead spot. it wants to die. it seems to run OK after that. I recently replaced the ing module, and turbo (ta49 to a ta61). where should I be looking for the problem.

would the EGR have anything to do with it? I have a block off plate that might not be sealing properly. just a thought, this is something else I have recently messed with.

i kinda had the same problem...i was told it might be the tps so i unplugged mine and the problem stopped and plus it idles way beter
so i think i just have a bad tps...not sure if that would fix your problem...

keep an update that way i wont have 2 change mine if thats not the problem..

not the tps
not the cam sensor
crank sensor?
inter cooler?

I started the car and disconnected the cam sensor. no change
I changed the tps. no change
I adjusted the crank sensor and I thought it changed at first but it didn't
is it the bigger turbo? there was a small dead spot be for I changed it. I am running a stock inter cooler maby I need a bigger one?
I plan on cleaning the intake if it needs it. I read it could have oil in it. ????

May be that you need a chip update or a different converter to match the new turbo. If it wasn't doing it before the swap and you changed nothing else then it has something to do with the new turbo's performance parameters.

I was wondering the same thing. I have a tt chip. when I had it burnt it was for a ta49. I don't know if it needs to be re burnt.
