Need Some Help

Hey guys, just bought an 87 T with the regular stereo. I am going this evening to buy a new Stereo and Speakers. I have read back through quite a few threads, but thought I would get some more opinions before I buy.

1. Do I have dash speakers if I have just the regular stock stereo?

2. I think I can put 6X9's in the rear with adaptors, should I go with component 5.25's in the doors, if so how and where do I mount the tweeters?

3. What is the best receiver on the market, in the $500 or less range?

1. usually, you'll get the stock acdelco whizzer cones up front. check out other 3.5"s to see which suits your taste.
2. do you have cut outs in the doors already? if so, go with what fits. if not, that decision is up to you.
3. $550...you can get an Eclipse top-of-line tuner. you'll get cleaner sound from a tuner than a receiver (w/ built in amp). this is just my opinion. check out he specs and design....and go with what suits your needs.
