Do you use an adjustable chip?
If so, I would set the car for as much boost as the stock setting would allow. (Low knock).
Example - FP set @ 43 line off, boost 15psi, 820 O2s, .5 knock @ WOT.
Now bump boost up to 16psi. See where O2s & knock are.
Ex. - 16 psi - 810 O2s - 1.0 knock
Bump boost up 17 psi.
Ex. - 17 psi - 750 O2s - 3.0 knock.
Now I would bump up FP 1#.
Ex. - 17 psi - 790 O2s - 1.0 knock.
The above would be a pretty good tune.
Add 1 timing
Ex - 17 psi - 780 O2s - 5.0 knock
Remove timing.
Do you get the idea?
You start off low with good numbers and you start bumping up boost or timing - add some fuel as you go up.
Some cars seem to respond better to higher timing & low boost others the reverse.
I am not expert but that is the way I would approach getting a car to being tuned.
