I know this is a Buick board.... and 2004R's rule the majority of the posts... but I have a friend with a 68 Camaro RS/SS Convertible clone... he is about to put a mild 500 or so HP big block behind.... he got my old Vigilante 7 disk lock-up converter I had behind my old 700R4 I used to run several years ago in my V8 S10. The car currently has a 700R4 and a 350 crate engine.... he was figuring putting a good 700R4 behind it... when he installed his Performer RPM headed/cammed big block Chevy.......

I had recommended Botie overdrives.... and had heard some decent stuff on them from the Camaro guys..... but now I am second guessing that recommendation since I read here on another post.... some negative info.....

With that said...... Who builds a comparable 700R4 to the good (2004R) ones that Bruce or Chris... or Brian build on here?

Any guideance is appreciated.

You need to call Mike Kurtz at Century automotive in Richmond TX. He builds great 700R4s and 200R4's for turbo buicks.......
