Ok, Here's the quick back story on my 87' Grand National.
My step father was the original owner and understandably loved that car more than his stepp children. He drove it to 87,000 miles and wanted to keep the miles down so he put a car cover over it to protect it in 1997. Fast forward 9 years with many worn out and crappy car cover replacements it was victim to the south Florida weathering. He then gifted it to my older brother in 2016. He (he's a life long mechanic ) got it to start within the hour of retreavel and to my surprise the engine sounded amazing. He patched up the rust holes throughout the body to stop the bleeding. Then slowly started to bring her back to life. He repaired or replaced the gas tank, fuel pump, brake line and everything involved, and a few other things I can't remember AND THEN!!.... He let it sit till I received her about a year ago. Luckily he kept it in his garage so it was out of the elements. For the record I love this car for not only that it's been my family since day one and I grew up with it, or being taken to school as a child in the coolest car on campus but it's also a bad ass car to own. All that being said I had my brother come down to help me to get it to run so I can bring it out of my tiny garage to work on it or bring it to local specialists to put her back to good condition status. We worked on it For many hours and cant get it to start. He's super busy and he won't have time to help me with this project so I need to find a local place to help me get my 87 Grand National started.
I'm in lake Worth Florida.
