I need to get my project back underway before I get ADD for another 10 years and buy another project(yes, my GN has been a ten year on and off rebuild...has not seen light of day since '01)...ok, so I bought one of the batch of re-issue Eagle forged cranks that were made a couple years ago....This crank is internally balanced, so I had the flexplate drilled out to be as close to zero as possible. Now the issue is the cast iron front balancer. Does anyone offer a non-weighted hub? To chop off the weight and then cut in between the spokes seems like it will cost me a fortune at a machine shop. Any ideas? I know I can't be the first person to run into this issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated. It seems me and my shop are at a stalemate til this issue is resolved.

I know someone

Who can machine it CLOSE to neutral--have the shop finish
