OK. Did some more scoping on car today. I pulled the oil pan to check out the crank and suck thinking maybe I did some lower end damage after over boosting it couple months ago. Everything looked good, no signs of any wear or damage from what is visible. Also nothing floating in oil such as gold flakes or such as I've heard others state a bad bearing can leave gold particles in the oil.
As I stated in other post, if you power brake it the engine wont go higher than around 2500 and there is no feel of it pulling at all, like its in neutral. I did change the chip finally to the TT alky chip to smooth out the idle which it did. Haven't switch chip back and retried the burnout to see if that was it, thou doubt it. I did fiind evidence of a small exhaust leak at the crossover connection. Not sure however if that was the ticking sound I heard below. Had a mechanical sound to it, but guess its possible. Any insight or leads somewhere I havent thought of would be appreciated, this is driving me nuts trying to get everything running right again so I can get the alky kit installed. Dont wanna change anything before its running right so the baseline is still the same.

yeah any exhaust leaks will cause problems with spool. what do you have for a torque convertor?

but even without spool, you should still feel the engine pulling while power braking, it shouldnt just stop at 2500 rpm. That's the real pisser right now, no idea what happened.

thats what i meant by spool, i guess i should say stall. you gotta figure that if exhaust is leaking out at a constant rate, its not spinning the turbo hard enough. how much boost are you able to build at that rpm?

there was no boost, its like the engine lost all power at 2500 rpm and refused to go any higher.
