Need Urgent Help:Right Headlight Problem??

Guy's when Im driving at night my right Headlight does not go on.The left one is fine.I went inside the car this morning before ordering a new right Headlight.When I hit the Bright lights the right Headlight works fine.Can anybody steer me to what this problem is or could be.Is this the way bad Headlight bulbs act in some or most cases?? Thanks for any Reply's.

Just replace the bulb. I had this happen to me on a hi/lo bulb. Low was burnt out but high was fine. Sounds like the bulb to me.
