Need v2 intake or adapter for i/c piping

Please help me find a v2 intake or a adapter like the spearco for stock intake to i/c piping. Or if someone has made a adapter please post pics and instructions. Thanks, Greg

I was wondering about this as well. Does anyone make the little 90 degree adapter like in the spearco kit? I have a freind who is pretty good at welding pipes, so I figure if i got one of those adapters, and a bunch of various mandrel bends from an exhaust shop, I could probably fab up my own IC setup by re-clocking the turbo, etc. If anyone knows of anyone who amkes that little adapter, I'd definitely be interested!!

adaptor, stock intake to spearco kit

I made my own,I`m assuming your`e talking about relocating the TB to the inlet hole in the stock hot air intake,thus making it a "blow thru" system like a 87GN ?? I made my own adaptor to atach to the spearco 45 degree pipe adaptor that goes on to the intake manif. It was a all day affair to make one,but it worked bitchen,just had a little problem to clear the windsheild wiper arm .I`m in the middle of taking it off the car,as I`m changing over to 87 style stuff,if you want ,I could take a pic of it and send it your way,I`m going to sell the adaptor I made along with the original hot air spearco I/C kit,havent put up for sale yet,so if a pic would help,I could do it this week-end maybe,,let me know,,,Jack

how car ran w/setup---------

Car ran super,very nice streetlite to streetlite,including idle quality.Ran like a new car does,just smooth from stop to freeway speeds,I was impressed ! I just got tired of things being sooo hard to get to,it being a hot air and all,so I got a super deal on the 87 stuff for a conversion,so I told myself,whynot ?I think one of the best things to do to a hot air is the headers,that is,scrap the stockers,and get a after market set and the LT1 maff w/translator,extender chip was a huge plus.With the spearco IC,I ran 93 octane and 23/19 timing and never got a retard timing on my scanmaster,that has a lot to say for the spearco IC I suppose.The TA49 would crank up to 20/23 lbs of boost at wot,never wanted to go more,but It would have.BTW I`m going to sell the spearco and adaptor,I still have all the kit parts and the instruction sheets ,if your interested,let me know,I have a 3" dp,21/4" crossover,oversized up pipe,and the BGC headers(which are large tubes),only put 5k miles on it.Am looking for a 17/23 row stock location IC for the 87 setup,maybe a trade here????-Jack

I havent seen any before and after timeslips posted here before.
Did you have the car dynoed as well? Im curious about horsepower gains as well.
Sounds like a sweet set up.
How much are you looking to get for the entire spearco mod set up?
I have an 85 GN motor that I've been toying around with the idea of intercooling..
