I am going to replace my front tires but am keeping my back ones cause they are brand new....and want to know what would look best. My current rear tires are 235/60/r15 and the old fronts are 215/60/r15. Should I..

1.) Just replace the fronts with the same size I have now...

2.) Replace the fronts with what I have in the back and it is even all around...

3. Move my current rear tires to the front and get bigger ones for the back...maybe 245/60/15?

What do you think would look best?

I am leaning towards that too....however I do not know if that would be too big for my stock rims.

I'd use the stock size in front (215-65-R15)...at least, that's what I did...

Claude.

I have the 235/60/r15 on all 4 corners next time Im going bigger in the back .

I'd put P215/65R15's in the front and leave the rears. 235/60's are pretty big for the front in my opinion.

What BRAND tires? That makes a big difference in your choice.

Only looking at basic street tires. I would get a pair of BF Goodrich Radial TAs so they match all around.

BFG's no problem. They are typically wider than the Firestones. I had BFG 235/60R15 fronts, 255/60R15 rears on the WE4 and it looked great. Im not happy with my 235/60R15 and 275/60R15 Firestone Indy500's, much smaller, or less tread width I should say compared to the BFG. HTH

That is what I am going to then. When you had those BFGs did you notice any rubbing?

I went with Yokohamas 235/60/15 up front and 245/60/15 in the rear. All depends what look you want. I thought the 255/60/15 were too tall and fat, but that's me.

Ok...I just orderded BFG TA's 245/60/15 for the back and will have the BFG 235/60/15 in front...hope that does not rub up front.:frown: Anyone know?

235 front, 255 rear no problems w/ the BFG's Vader............ hth

picking up some 275/60/15 drag radials for the rear now. going to play with the 235/60/15 and 245/60/15 up fronts. i'll keep you posted.

Crap!

Ok...so I moved my 235/60 BFG TA's to the front and bought new 245/60 for the back. Guess what! When I turn to the right...it rubs! CRAP! I thought it would clear....

BTW...When I was in there waiting for my car to be finished...looking through the window scared to death my rims would be destroyed...another customer comes over and says, "Wow! That is a nice Monte! What year it it?"
