Needed cup holders

Got the console from Walmart on clearance $20 did some cutting so it would slide over the factory one and then added some extensions on the back for support

So did I.... So I swapped in a real console...with dual cup holders, 12V power outlet, motorized ash tray, power trunk release, deeper storage compartment, and a stock shifter. Now for the real question?? Vini, why do we have the same avatar LOL. Has that ever happened before??

I get this question literally every time I take the car out. I have only discussed the install with a couple of people. It's a little bit of work. I probably had the console in / out (10) times. The main issues are the stock shifter must be moved left, and back. This is to line up with the shifter plate opening. There is also some mods to be done to the underside of the console, as the shifter plate (silver) mounts to the donor cars shifter assembly. Therefor, the silver shift plate must be removed from the donor shifter, and reattached to the console itself (underside). Then there is wiring for the shift indicator light, 12 v power plug, and in my case, the power trunk release. The answer to your question...2004-2008 Pontiac Grand Prix. FYI.. there are (3) different consoles, depending on the trim level, and (2) different types of armrest material. They are only available in BLACK.
