There's a recent thread on gas tanks..
You can buy a new one for cheap, and it has metal baffles in it. Can be powdercoated. Spectre GM307C.

Just buy a new one as Chuck suggested. I bought the same tank he listed from Rock Auto and worked great.

Any way to tell a turbo gas tank without pulling pump/pickup ?
I think i have a nice one......

Should be from fuel injection car and 3 lines on pickup and if pull pickup plastic baffle inside carb has only 2 believe

Yes to confirm twist retaining ring on sender and pull out and look inside should have a plastic bucket in the bottom
