Has anyone run 20-30mm spacers on factory 15"x6 wheels to push them out towards running flush with the body of the car? I feel the factory setup is too far into the wheel well.

Or alternatively has anyone here run the 15x7 or 15x8 aftermarket wheels and if so any photos of how they sit on the car?

I wouldn’t run wheel spacers, that’s just me. Never cared for them or the reliability.

Why do want your tires to be flush with body? You’re going to run into contact issues with tire travel.

As for different rims, you’ll have to do the measuring & the math. You should find the correct offset that works with the size tire you want to use. Keeping in mind that the body is rarely centered on the frame.

I am hoping to achieve a more aggressive look with the wheels pushed further out to the edge of the car like this:

Most people don't go larger than 235's on the front due to rubbing issues.

As stated for the rear you'll need to figure out the wheel offset, tire width/height that works for your car.

The aftermarket aluminum 15”x 8” GN wheels will get you closer to the look you want, but even on the GN wide bodies (GNX) the inner fenders were cut out to make room for the more aggressive offset in an attempt to fill out the fender flares.
The rear fender lips can be rolled, the fronts cannot.

Here are some photos of what they did on the GN wide bodies.

Some old photos of when I had 255/50-16’s squared.
16”x 8.5” ‘85 vette wheels with 1.5” billet wheel adapters. Essentially 16”x 8.5” 4”B.S. (ET-19).
I had stiffer springs and shocks, the drivers side rubbed the top of the fender over big dips. I didn’t know the fender could be cut out at that time.

I wish it was as easy as adding 1” spacers.
