Well I finally installed my new accumulator ball last night. In 2000 or early 2001 I started getting an occasional brake light when I applied the brakes, so I ordered a new ball. While I was waiting for it to come in, I changed out the brake fluid with Valvoline synthetic DOT3, I think it was called SynPower back then and the light went away. So now 9 or 10 years later I finally got to install the new accumulator ball. It definitely made the pedal feel better than it did. I never expected the old one to last that long.
