New best for Carlos Rosas

Ran at the bop yesterday in gainesville florida..with engine and trans built by me...This run was against don cruz..I thought for sure I was history as I was doing the driving in carlos's car..

I was peddling the car thru the 60ft because tires broke loose on launch(Need to change converter to 3200-3400 stall to build boost on line)..I'm sure this car will run a low 11 or hi 10 with more traction and a solid launch at the same boost level...car ran smooth and effortless down the track..at 3500lb ,mph is roughly a 11.5 et..

On that run don broke his crank sensor and had to abort the run,lucky for me..:smile:

Man youd be in the mid almost low 11s if you could get the car to 60ft, great MPH.

car needs a line lock for burn out box and a 3200- 3400 stall converter for a 7 to 10 psi launch instead of zero and more traction(lift bars maybe)..and a new set of drag radials....It felt like it had plenty power left in it..with razors kit I'm sure we could make more boost if needed,but for know I think we have enough..just need to work on those other issues..

I was told that it was Tony gomes instead of don cruz,not sure but here is a picture of car with cal hartline under hood...maybe someone can chime in who knows this car..
