New combo ....stall?

I am going to a new combo and would like to know excatly what a stall convertor is going to do for me. I race my car more than cruise it(live 10min. from track). So I need some input on this subject. I ran stock restalled D5 before and got 1.5x 60's @10psi boost.....I at least want the same 60's.

Stock long block still, you cant get too crazy with the converter.

3200-3400. 3400 would be neat with a new cam and heads..

Gasket is going first before I tear into that motor.Might be soon enough tho.

Went with a 3200-3400 pts extreme billet 9/11 convertor. Thoughts?

Also I am looking at getting a batt brake. Can I install this later or should I do it with rebuild?

After searching

Bat brake is too much for me right now, so I may install it later. I have a new RJC boost controller in the mail too.That combo should get me some good 60' times
