new converter problems? help!!!!

i had a new 3000 stall put in and got the car back today..every thing feels fine then i decide after a good bit to try it out...well it feels like the motor when i get in it is in neutral or revs up real bad or the feeling of a bad transmission....it wont really hook up and just revs up....any ideas...the tranny is in good shape...the only other thing i did was put a shift kit in and new tcc solenoid....also used amsoil synthetic tranny fluid...any ideas...hell once i got home tonight i cant hardly give it any gas to get it going....

have you rechecked the trans fluid level (with engine running).. sometimes, after a drive, the fluid will be low after being fully run down the road.

how many quarts....3.5? correct?

what!??!?!?! I don't know the exact number, but after a converter change and pan drop.. you're looking at 7-10 quarts of fluid.

i used almost 2.5 gallons of fluid...

what did you mean by this? I'm assuming the basics - detent hooked up and set correctly, torque converter stabbed correctly, valves replaced with shift kit went in as the old ones came out?

i have first gear just fine...after that it feels like i have a big ass stall in it...just revs but no movement unless i baby it but even then feels fu#$ed up this is in my TTA
