New convertor, what else?

My trans is totally stock as of now. I am going to putting in a PTS shift kit within the next month or two.

Over the winter I am going to put on a TE-60 and a 2800 converter. Besides an external cooler, what else am I going to need?

Just a FYI, I am only at the track every once in a while. When I am there, I run 100 octane and lower boost.(no 15lb launches here ) I don't plan on seeing anything below low 12s for another year or two. Don't want to get serious until I'm out of school.

My trans started to flair real bad at once I got into the 12's. If it isnt slipping, I wouldnt worry about it since your goal is low 12's right now.

Hey, your in the Tinley area right? I remember seeing your car at the Frankfort car show last year. I am also DCVING 6 on chitown. Definatly have to meet up with you some time. Once I get my front end painted and back on the car, I will be out cruising.
