Anyone using that new Denso O2 sensor that sopesedly is very resistant to leaded racing fuel? From what I read about it, it has some kind of lead filter around the sensor itself that catches the lead out of trhe exhaust stream and later burns it off not damaging the sensor itself. Sounds and looks pretty trick.

Hmm? Sound intresting, whats the part number? Is it a heated 02?

The pic I seen was a 4 wire and it listed all the goodies about the sensor, IE: heated, lead filter, faster/more sampling, bla bla bla. I do not have a part number as this particular sensor was in an ad in a magazine. www.denso.com

The Denso O2 sensor that is being advertised will basically be the same as the '98-'01(I think) GMC Savannah. I believe it was OE equipment on those vehicles. That means any GM delership should stock it as a service item. You might call them to make sure first.

The reason that you are seeing more ads these days is that Denso is now beginning to try and create more aftermarket support for us (i.e. freaks that like to run leaded race fuel more than we should).

By the way, the wire layout is as follows:
1 blue wire = +
1 white wire = -
2 black wires = heater (not polarity sensitive)
