What does it take to put a dist in place of a cam sensor.Does the fast have to go back for a upgrade?

Yes Russ, It runs. No convertor yet.
To run a dist, If you have an older fast box it would have to go back,The XFI unit does not need to be returned to change igniion types.
THe dist drops right in but only if you run the Alt bracket and take out the coolant bypass hose.

First for me. DId you get some gains from losing the DIS or did you do it just for fun. I have always thought DIS is the way to go, so if I'm wrong let me know.

Waiting for my torque convertor,It went bad and i sent it to TCI to have it redone,Did the Dist change while convertor was out

You are wrong, on a full race application you can pick up 50 to 100HP.

WOW. No idea you get so much just for losing the DIS. what about the stage blocks? How "race do you have to be to need a distributor?

Several TSM guys are or will be running them. Bamford is in the 9.3s with a stock block.
The wasted spark ignition does not work that well with wide band correction.
The wasted spark also does not fire really high cylinder pressure for example super high boost.
