I'm tickling 57, the EPA can do their best to chase me down and make my life difficult because I have a "modified" car, however, the fact is , if they do, I'll do my best to make it as difficult as I can to FUCK with them at every turn.

FUCK WITH THEM AT EVERY TURN.

Here's an entertaining read from CARB about getting a part exempted from the tampering rule. Couldn't find any mention of cost, but you'll get the idea. Of special interest here, there seems to be a category for turbochargers.

There will be far more severe "WING CLIPPING" very very soon ..

Since we all saw how great of a job the EPA does at enforcing regulations ( just look at the Flint Water debacle) ... and people think they can enforce the race car regulations.

I would be willing to bet that a significant amount of restructuring and regulation changes will be imposed very very soon ... damn I was just starting to think some of these original parts I have would fetch a premium for all the guys neutering their GN's and taking all the hi-po stuff off because of the "AGENTS"

Well,let's hope they get stopped in their tracks.

Up here in NY,I must get yearly inspections. An "no-modifications" clause could very easily be added to the Inspection.

I can't take anything for granted. Midnight bill passing has been done before up here. My *antennas* go up whenever I get a whif of some kind of regulation coming about.

They could very easily make my GN completely illegal to drive on the roads up here. There's no escaping it,either. I'm in the heart of the Capital....Albany,NY. Cop cars have the plate scanners,etc. All one would have to do is drive by me,and I'm done.

Any cop I've dealt with up here loves my car. ...even after I got caught lifting the front wheels at a light when some ricer needed a 0-40 lesson.

I never said SEMA wasn't all over this. But as big as SEMA is, it doesn't have the lobbying power other groups do. And even if congress passes a bill banning the EPA from enforcing these proposed rules, it still requires a presidential signature to became law. Do you honestly see the current occupant of the White House or anyone running with a "D" next to their name signing such a bill into law?

$37,500 per product or service that is in violation for businesses is a small fine?
