New to the Turbo Buick world. Always wanted a grand national and I finally got a chance to get a very clean 87'. 82k original miles, and had a few things done to it. But already have problems. Was idling this morning and I pushed the ECM kick panel up bc it was drooping and the car died. Now wont start. It has a Turbo tweak chip, and powerlogger. Also has a 2 step/rev limiter box. I figured it was just a loose connection, I messed with the wires and nothing. Does the power logger have a safe mode or anything? I am new to these cars being my first, and any help would be greatly appreciated.

Loose board in the case?

I guess its a possibility.. Seems to me lik a loos connection sice all I did was move the ECM/kick panel very slightly and it died. Fuel pump primes, and it will pop off but wont stay running.

Does the check engine light come on and stay on?

koeo its on, then when I crank to start and either pops off and dies or doesnt start stays on.

I am no expert but sounds like the issue would be related to kicking the ECM. Broken wire or loose PCB in the ECM case.

thanks for the replys. I will post in the correct section to try to figure out this issue. I will read over that site as well. Although it seems like a connection issue.
