how many is a handful ?------i'm interested in them-------are they packed for safe shipping???

They aren't packed yet. If buying several, I would put them on a pallet. Probably with some old pans to protect the bottom. At a minimum some carboard between cases sandwiched together.

I have 4 on hand and am picking up more later this week.

The dust cover bolts are drilled like a 4x4 case. Not sheetmetal screws but actual threaded bolts.
