Just to set the record straight, I called all the GM dealers in Brookhaven, Mi. today and just as I suspected NO ACCUMULATOR BALLS and to prove it I have the dealers phone numbers, the dealers name and the name of the person I spoke with. So 8AV8 doesn't live there or is just mouthing off or has some other source. So 8AV8 I suggest you leave your shoes and mouth off ,They DON'T HAVE THEM !!! Oh! Gary Wells just for your information this is PROBABLY NOT !! one bought for a $150 from the board member selling them a few weeks back. It is one of several I bought a couple of years ago from my local GM dealer for $88 and change.

Ok, so it could be just coincidential timing, dude. There was a post about 2 or 3 weeks before yours on either this board(tb.com), or the other main board (tbs.com), and/or both and the statement made by the seller was that he had bought a box of, maybe, 24, I believe, and he had already sold over half of them in just a matter of days, and that he had about 10 or 12 left at time of posting. I e-mailed him and was going to buy 2, but decided 2 days later that I just couldn't spare the money. They were $ 150 each, plus postage, brand new in the original box with the most recent GM part no. He works at a dealership, but did not say whether he was selling these through the dealership or on his own. In either case, Kirban will have these out shortly so it doesn't matter. Hey guys, I also ran a check on these at my local dealer and these have been discontinued for about a year now and ran a parts locater on them and NON came up anywhere! So if you know where I could buy a couple (I have 2 GN's) please let me know?!?! Thanx.......Al

8AV8, I'm not mad at all, but I think it was YOU that said you can get them cheaper at your GM dealer. Like I said I CALLED all your dealers in MS.(sorry noy MI.)and they DON"T have them. So it's time to put up or SHUT up. You run right down to YOUR dealer and get me a dozen and prove you to me you have them and I'll take all 12 for $225 each.

This is classic Buick enthusiast handling of parts. Buy up as many parts as you can so you can just flip them for double or triple the price originally paid. That’s not capitalism, that’s ripping people off. We just saw this mentality earlier in the year with the cam sensors.

If you have one GN or even two GNs sitting in the garage you do not need a dozen “in stock”. You’re looking to rip people off, bottom line. And as Buick venders disappear from the market this is only going to get worse.

Thank god that Kirbans is going to offer these accumulators, at what I see is a reasonable price, seeing that they are the ones who did the leg work to keep our Buick running properly. Unlike individuals who just go down to the dealer and buy up everything just to screw you and me.

I would like to thank the members I purchased parts from as I have always felt I paid a fair and just price.

You missed my point, you as far as I know only had one for sale, not 10, 15 or 20. My comment(s) were not directed to you but to the individuals who knowingly purchase “lots” of parts just to flip them. Kirbans (correct me if I’m wrong) got that price ($200+) prior to revealing that they were going to provide the accumulators at $100 to $130 each. I bet you people would not pay big money if they knew this information. Granted your’s was NOS and that does make a big difference to the stickler.

Case in point was the cam senor fiasco yearly this year. Funny how every $65 PC16 part disappeared within days from parts stores after being revealed on the Buick boards and then showing up for $100+ once realized they were “Not Available”.

Will Kirbans keep the price stated for the accumulator, I have no idea, but I consider them a good vender and do not expect a $200+ price tag.

I believe that Kirban plans on selling them in the $130 range but you can't blame ANYONE for trying to make a buck because if you had 3 or 4 laying around you would'nt sell them without trying to make some as well Vin? I bet your still buying gas for your GN after Exxon and the other oil/gas companies reported there highest ever earnings when they have been Absolutely Ripping us a new one!!! Supply and demand and EVERYONE does it!! I need at least 1 if not 2 of them (I have 2 GN's) and I know that I will have to pay for them.
