Sep 29, 2003 #2 salvageV6 Daily Driver Joined May 25, 2001 Messages 20,968 I have been running an aftermarket gas tank in salvageV6 and the car has been at the track and run on the yellow low fuel light plenty. No problems with the cheesy pie pan baffle in the aftermarket cheap tank. Make sure you use 2-3 cans of rustoleaum on it and one can of rubberized undercoating. Should be good for 10-15 years. I don't believe the baffling is a problem unless you do wheels up launches all the time, I don't think that will ever be an issue. Daily driver with 50K or so on the tank now. PS: Some aftermarket tanks you have to buy the filler neck and solder or braize it on there prior to use.
