Hello everyone, I've been hunting for a GN for many years that I can afford and finally found one; an '87 t-top with 59K, here in Ontario. It's in pieces as the owner had taken it apart four or five years ago and had the body worked over and painted and he never got back to it. So I'm reasonably sure I'm missing a lot of what I need for the interior.. Thankfully the driveline was left intact and only the electrical has been monkeyed with for a stereo and some sort of hacked together car alarm system.
It's got a healthy transmission at least and the limited slip rear end, the 3.8 just got it's oil changed last night with some Royal Purple and I'm working on changing out the plugs that will hopefully fix the rough idle once the stale gas makes it's way out of the system.
I'm sure I'll be on here with questions as I'm new to G-bodies in general.
If anyone has some tips and tricks for putting seats in or window glass and what not please chime in!
Also yes as you can see if you look closely the steering wheel is wrong. It came with a replacement column with the correct steering wheel, just need to install it. I'll get to that after I finish patching the small hole in the floor and remove all the errant heavy cable for the former bangin' stereo a previous owner had installed and then removed.
