congrats on the GTP it looks clean
the biggest issue people run into starting to mod the L67 ( 3800 s2 sc) is they swap the pulley without proper supporting mods and actually slow the car down and cause damage to pistons due to KR ( knock Retard due to detonation detected))
it sound like that is going on here - a stock gtp should run 14.4-14.7 at about 95-96 trap
do you know what size pulley is on it ? is it a press on or a modular hub/pulley system ?
where the pulley is allready on the car and I will assume it is a press on you will need to catch up your supporting mods to the pulley that is on the car currently
the biggest restrictions are in this order :
u-bend=look where your post cat o2 sensor is its an engineering mistake of epic proportions !
the downpipe=under 2" I.D. at most restrictive point
front exhaust manifold=when people chip pistons it is usually #3,5,or 1 - the front ones , i put them in the order most likely to chip to least
there are many ways to fix this , the best way if you can is to go to headers since they would address all of the listed restrictions in one fell swoop
xs autochrome headers are stainless steel and available for $299
you could also replace the downpipe as a whole bolt in downpipe that would eliminate both the downpipe and u bend rstrictions and buy a powerlog which is a shorty style header to replace the front manifold , both are available from
ZZPerformance
a couple small things we do to kill some KR is install some autolite 104 plugs ( copper core 2 ranges colder than stock) and a drilled 189* thermostat
on a car running a smaller pulley you should have a means to scan for KR , and if you can swing it start right out with hp tuners which can scan & tune
I could go on an on but those should get you on the brink of breaking 13's along with my assuming you have a 3.5" pulley on the car
you should also join a few forums specific to 3800 performance
