new hood

[Low Budget]

Can anyone tell me if new steel hoods, trunk lids and other body panels are available anywhere? I don't want fiberglass.

GM list is over $700 for a new hood. However, "GNX GUY" had a brand new GM one for $425-475.... somewhere around there. I have done business with him before and had no problems. Do a search on his name in "parts for sale" section and you should be able to find it. If not I can get you his phone number.

GM hoods are now discontinued and suggested retail was over $700. Good luck on your search.

Thanks for the info. I tried to buy it today. He doesn't want to ship. I either have to drive from PA to Chicago to pick it up or he'll bring it to Nationals. I'm not doing either.
