For all those interested...
My Riviera motor is out! I pulled it tonight. This motor is getting slapped into my '84 GN and it's going to get street driven for the next little while.
After something like 8 or 9 years or so, I will finally get to drive my '84 GN again! I think I blew it up in 1996 or 1997 and that was the last time the car ran... I took a chunk out of the #5 piston and parked it. Back in my turbo Buick "Learning" stage.
After that's done, I'm getting to work on a whole new drivetrain for the Rivi... trans, motor both.
For the project, I'll be shopping for an aftermarket carbe'd intake, a huge turbo, and soliciting help from anyone who knows how to beef up the famed GM TH-325-4L transmission (LOL it's a "performance trans" right?)
Anybody got a good flowing Carb'ed intake manifold?
We're going to make the IC guys jaws hit the floor with the handicapped car. (FWD, HEAVIER AND HOT AIR!)
