Hello everyone. Wanted to drop in and introduce myself. Wow that even sounds Newbish, lol. I'm new to the GN life but not to G-Bodys. I've owned over 60. I wish someone would of told me it means nothing while dealing with these unicorns. I just purchased a 86 W2 GN that had been sitting for over 12 years. The inside is perfect and un-molested. The exterior is a solid 7.
New toys I'm in the process of installing: TT chip with #60 injectors, Innovate LC-2 w DB gauge, Power Logger, G-Scan, Hallman BC, Autometer boost gauge. Scored a THDP. Of course I did a full clean/tuneup on the engine. Had to replace the radiator right off the bat.
I have worked in the auto industry for 25 years. I am a L1 Master tech. Even though these cars seem to have a mind of their own I think I will be able to bring good things to the table. My shop specialises in advance diagnostics. So I'll stick with what I know. I was shocked to see there was very light information here on scope diagnosis wether it be on Hall effect, VRS, or even Waste spark systems. It's pretty cool to actually see voltages and how they move when you change parts out for others. Thats what I hope to bring. Lord knows I already owe a lot for the ton of information I have gotten from this forum family.
Anyways, Thanks for having me. Thank the Lord for allowing me life.
