I installed Julio's methanol kit last week. I just go a chance to do some preliminary tuning on the dyno. All I can say is Holy Sh!t!!!!! My car picked up 80rwhp and almost 100rwtq on an extra 2lbs of boost and 1 degree of timing. I haven't even started leaning on the car yet. I will be going to the track to prove a few things out before I start getting a bit more aggressive.

Before I bought Julio's kit, I spoke with the big 3 kit makers (SMC, Alchycontrol.com and Snow). Each offerred something that I wanted: either ease of installation, progressive controllers, ample-sized pump, etc.) Julio's kit, once you go down the list of pro's and con's offerred the most pro's and only one con. It is a bit more complicated to install, but if I can do it, anyone can. Julio was there to answer EVERY question ...and believe me there were a lot of question...many of them stupid.

To say that I am satisfied is a 100% understatement. This kit f#cking rocks!!!!! Thanks again Julio. More to come as I visit the track.

Thanks ;)

Put some numbers up after you get some traction

like it better than the propain kit or what?been there done that.:D

Well, the propain did what it was supposed to do...it adds octain. Julio's kit is just more advanced (progressive controller) and gives me added cooling as well (needed it to bring down IAT's in the 160's on the track). At the time, the Propain kit compared well to all the alchy kits that were out there. But now...All things being equal, I have to say Julio's kit is the hands down winner.

PS: For you bargain hunters...I am almost giving away my used Propain kit. ($250+shipping)

Razor's kit was on the car that won the GN vs. Mustang shootout at Englishtown this past weekend.:D

Lot's of people looking at the kit. If I talked it up anymore Julio would have to put me on his payroll!!

Here's how I did it:

Drove just under 3 hours to New Jersey. Didn't change anything on the car. Not even tire pressure (last time I checked in June the Drag radials were at 25 psi, I assume the pressure is still the same). Didn't take out spare tires or jacks or put in race fuel. Didn't "ice down the intake" (silly v8's). Made my runs and drove home. Best pass on Sunday was 11.96 @114 MPH (record MPH for me).

Oh yeah, did the same thing the day before...

You can add me to the fan club too.

Ben, Congrats on the win. :D

Keep this up, and i'll have to send you some stickers and start paying contingency ;)

Your making it sound too easy :D

Just a little secret on that win... There was such a poor turnout that I only had to go 3 rounds, but don't tell anyone;) A win is a win!!

Right around 25#. Might have crept up just a tad, had my eye on the scanmaster.

O2's were good, mid 700s. Egt was right in the 1630-1650 range.

Ben, What trubo and IC are ya usin? I just started tuning my alky even tho I've had it for about 5 years (long story) and I went 12.57 @ 112 on Sat. Now I'm wondering how to get faster in the 1/8th as it seems there's alot of improvement to be had for the ET. (TE 60 stock IC)

i just joined the fan club 2 days ago, got it tuned in today. all i can say is awsome.why did razor wait so long to make this kit.:D
