David Freiburger has left his position as editor-in-chief of Hot Rod magazine to start an all-online "magazine" complete with it's own project cars, event coverage, forums, videos, and feature cars. It's called carjunkietv.com . Any of you who know who he is probably knows that he is the main guy responsible for turning Hot Rod around and making it interesting again. He is a mopar guy at heart but appreciates all makes. I think it's going to be a hit once it goes "live". The forum is up at carjunkieforums.com and we need more turbo buick guys there. It's already over 1000 members and growing fast thanks to his faithful mopar crowd. I'd bet if we got the interest going over there we could see a tr project car though.

dang, that's (probably) terrible news! He made Car Craft and Hot Rod readable again! I noticed a real drop in my enjoyment of CC when he took over Hot Rod, now HR will probably go down the tubes too. The man really really really knows how to put out a magazine that I like. I sure hope this new effort of his pans out...

I actually live 6 miles west, in Baileyville, but yeah i'm in Seneca a lot. I quit working on transmissions and I now work at the Dodge/GMC dealer in Seneca. We could meet up some time, but if you want to do more than stare at the GN you will have to wait till about april. It's on jackstands for the winter, and I'm busy with my new baby girl. Probably should have sent this in a PM but oh well.
