New regal owner needs help

Hi guys. I just purchased a 1985 Regal. 200,000 kilometers on it. $1,000 Canadian. It's not Turbo so I was wondering if anybody new where I could find some info on Non Turbo models. I think it's got a 305? Right? If thats the case, are the parts interchangeable with Chevy 350 parts? Wouldn't mind sprucing it up a bit. Any help would be appreciated. Any idea what rear end is in these cars? Thanks again

Does it look like a Chevy motor? it should be a 307 Oldsmobile.

Oldsmobile heads are completely different looking from smallblock chevy heads. One look and you will know its an oldsmobile or not.

The rear end should be a 7.5" 10 bolt.
