I'm digging the gray valve covers too, kinda wish I'd have went that route.

They were powdercoated. Color was called "Black Chrome". but look more like gunmetal grey, in my opinion.

Scot W. sells them but I purchased my from Shane prior to Scot selling them under his Company GNS

Intake is ceramic coated same as the headers.

Yes, that might be the smart way to go. I had my powdercoated and it stained over the years from fuel and oil spills. I would think that ceramic would hold up.
