Okay, I have the new style front cover (brand new) and am needing a seal for it (Pioneer, didn't come with one  ) It uses a seal # 710613. Has anyone actually found a seal for it locally? That number is not listed at Auto Zone, Oreillys, 47th st auto, Advance, etc. WTH? I know it is the correct one, as the one that came with the first cover is that number and fits (but now has aluminum grindings in it.).

Supposedly 710613 or B231-710613 or 472319, silver seal 6573.

Any ideas, other numbers, etc???

Seals

I purchased them from the people who made the cover.

I think I have 4 extra at the shop....

Be glad to send you one if your still in need!!!!!

E-mail me direct if you still need a new seal for the HV front cover.

look for a bearing and seal firm in the phone book. power transmission firms often can cross such a part.

Well, I ended up beign able to find another cover in town with the seal, so I returned to one to Auto Zone that didn't come with it. I ordered 3 seals from a board member today so I will have spares and won't have to worry about searching next time. (unless I lose these....) Thanks for the help guys. Now off to create another post about the cam sensor not going in.

we have them in stock

Doh! I did a quick look and didnt see them (or covers).

Tried to help my buddy out but he was able to solve his own problem. Yea! You know James, spares will never bee needed while you have them. ;)

I hope not! I am getting quite a "spare" collection going. Although I did sell the spare 4.1. Maybe I should have kept that too.

4 front covers, 3 front cover gasket sets, 6 seals later, and now the cam sensor won't fit.
