I just installed a LT1 MAF and a Translator plus. I started with No Change to any of the fuel or timming settings. Just curious if their is a standard way to go with the system since their is more control. I am running a 22 degree chip from Joe Lubrant.

Car has 50 lb inj, GT 35/61 turbo, Champ Al. heads, 3000 stall 911 ( I know a little low for the turbo), an all the other normal stuff, wont go into it too much. I run 100 octane all the time.

From what I understand from reading posts here, low timming will help my spool up? Also will leaning out at idle with the translator settings help out with spool up?

Funny thing, I started the car today and it blubbered away at first like it was hitting on just a few cylinders, it then picked up and ran fine. Seemed like it might be a little rich at idle. However the thing ran like a banshee, but a little slow on the spool up.

Just looking for some wisdom for tuning.

Dennis
