SignUp Now!67 ford thunderbird with a 429 cj.Holy Moses was that car cool. Hood was about 8 feet long, it would incinerate the tires with the lightest stab and it was fast as hell. 16 years old at the time and pops put an end to that because he was sure I would kill myself with it. He was probably right. But I replaced it with a 70 gs that was equally lethal. The gs survived 20 years of hard adolescent abuse before I sold it to buy a 70 gs 455. Convertible that I own. Today
Hey Dennis, thanks for info on my old GTO, i completely forgot about that bumper, some kind of rubber or styrofoam or something. Plus i been thinking and the car also had a real piece of glass in the top,not just plastic like most converts of the day. Do you know how rare they are and what they are worth now, i want to just keep depressing myself.
The first car I ever owned I still own today. Bought it 22 years ago. It's my 85 t-type. It wasn't modified........instead I'd say it was butchered!
Today it's still the only Turbo Buick or Hot-Rod I've ever owned. Many of you have seen it.

Thanks again Claude. Your kind words are always appreciated!Joey, I didn't know that your Buick was your first car!…All I can say to everyone here is that I saw Joey's car "in person" numerous times ant it's just beautiful!…You should enter it in the car show in Bowling Green KY next year.
My first car was a 1969 Dodge Charger R/Twhich my father bought brand new for my mom. When I reached the age when he would let me drive, he bought another vehicle for my mom and gave the Charger to me. I know for a fact that car still exists today, it has been frame-off restored to original specs and has been exported to Great Britain and the current owner stills gets in touch with me once in a while!
The first picture is way back in 1969 with my dad reaching the end of the 1/4 mile at Sanair race track near Montreal, QC and the next two pics are from the same car now in Great Britain...
Claude.
