New TR wont register (correctly) on scantool

i just have a simple hand held scantool that reads codes and sensor data....it works great on my Gn, but on my new T the values are ok for about 2 minutes, then they go nuts!! i mean everything bounces around, rpm, temp, iac, tps, o2's, even the proom id!!! as far as the car itself, what could cause this? i know its not the tool, because i use it on my GN and other cars all the time.

What chip are you running in the T. It could have the fast update mode with will mess up most generic scantools.

its supposed to be a red armstrong 93 street chip for 42.5lb injectors...

Problem with the ECM and/or chip ? Did ya try swapping just to check ?

im going to swap the ecm and chip from my GN tonight and see what happens...

Here's a little tip from out of the past.....remove your low speed fan relay and see if that helps. I've got some info somewhere that I got a long time ago that details exactly what the problem is and how to correct it for a problem just like you describe.
