Well here it is!! My new S300sx3 Buick turbo with the 3 bolt housing 6668. I told Reed to help me pick a turbo for my application. I said pick what you would put in your car. This is what he came up with. It supports about 80lbs/hr. I can't wait to get it installed and make some boost!!

Is that a journal bearing center section? What stall are you going to use with it?

It is a journal bearing turbo. The stall is a 10 inch fuel and blown ATI convertor for a th400. It flashes about 5400 or so. I will have to see how it behaves when I get everything back together and put some power to it. I was at 25psi on my old PT70 on Alky and 93.

Tomorrow I will be finishing up a few things on the motor before I install it. Should be in the car and running by Tuesday. I have been fighting these damn headers for a while. They are either cracking, warping or the crossover pipe isn't sealing right. If I had another $1000 I would spring for some T/As.

Reeds a good guy and knows his stuff .im sure you will be VERY happy with it . i got him to spec out the turbos on my tt sbc as well . :)

Just placed an order w/ Reed, for a BW S400SX3. New design turbine wheel 87/81, 1.25 AR, 75/81 compressor, T4.
The ol 5.3 is going to suffer some "pressure pains"!
Had been waiting for 2 weeks for a BW from Forced Inductions.... I asked 4 times, for a comp map and a detailed invoice..Never came. Order was cancelled.:( [I had seen some good FB on the various boards, before I ordered. So I thot give it a try.....Bad decision on my part.] Once I got some good FB from another racer, the decision to go w/WORK was easy to make............:D

IT'S ALIVE!!!!

Got the old Buick fired up this afternoon. Had a few setbacks that had to be addressed before installing the motor. I also took the time to clean and paint a few things. I followed Reeds instructions that come with turbo and made sure to prime the complete oil system before reinstalling the cam sensor so no dry starts. Haven't driven the car yet but I did stall it up a little in the garage. This turbo sounds like a jet engine!! The PTE turbo I had before was quiet but this one sounds awesome!! Can't wait to put my foot into it!!
