Has anyone tried the new turbonetics CPT line of turbos? I am curious about upgrading from my TE-44. I'm interested in what's different about Turbonetics over prescision. Let me say that I'm a bit doubtfull of turbonetics because I had a Cheetah back in 1992. It was a dog, horrible, spooled so slow, had no performance gain over stock. The stocker actually performed WAY better.
I'm wondering if Turbonetics is worth another try.

I've had mine (61bb) for about 2000 miles now and like it alot with a 3000 stall 9x11 lu converter. It spools stupid fast. The nice thing about the Tnetics as opposed to the PTE is you don't need to run the coolant lines, the Tnetics is oil cooled.

I had it at the track once, but was limited to 13psi from my wastegate spring and not having a boost controller plumbed yet. On a stock longblock leaving at 0psi, it went 13.40's 1.8 60ft on street tires. Not too bad for 13psi I guess, would like to try it around 24psi. :D Cotton said it would do a high 10 with heads and a cam pushing it 25psi+.

With my new car, I am going with a 66, so I will be selling the 61 soon. Polished 4" inlet, ceramic coated exhaust housing;) .

Which one did you buy? What mods need to be in place to work with them?
I have THDP, 2800 stall Con., 42 delphi injectors, 65 mm throttle B and plenum, alcy, Drag Radials. Stock head and cam. Currenlty running a TE44.
Would I gain anything going to one of these?
