Curious if and when I get new window frame weather stripping, how does it attach to the a-pillar, roof, and b-pillar?
Is there adhesive for the a-pillar and roof and something else for the b-pillar? Just curious before I order a new set.
TIA

its kinda a pain in the ass. Did mine a few months ago after i painted it. This is how i did it:

Keep old trim!! the metal pieces that the windo weatherstrip is glued into is required to use for the new rubber. When you get the new rubber, rip out the old then clean out all old rubber remaining with solvent (i used laquer thinner then painted them again) Be sure to note how the old rubber came out so you can put the new in the same way. Youll need 3M weatherstrip adhesive - its in a red tube and is black. run a bead of this inside the metal rails on each side and especially at the corners where the rubber will bend. Make certain you screwed em onto the car first, the screws are inside this metal strip! Now use the weatherstrip adhesive and those black push-in things to attach the weatherstrip at the ends. if your doing the door weatherstrip too, then apply adhesive as specified by the directions (in high abuse areas!) Then shut the door, making sure it all lines up and let her sit till the glue dries (it takes a lil while). Dont go nutso with the adhesive - apply it in a similar fashion to the way the stock rubber was put on. you can tell where it was glued. If i missed anything in this essay, reply back. AHHH! :)
