Hi, I'm new to this site and somewhat new to Turbo Buicks. Actually I have worked on 78 Turbo cars and even Corvair turbos. The reason I joined this board is that I have an interest in building a Turbo car (Regal or maybe Skyhawk) to race with the NMCA. I have raced V8 Buicks for 12 years and raced on a National level for the last 9. I just won the NMCA season Championship for Nostaglia Super Stock for 2007. Since this is an index class and I'm getting tired of the finish line driving, I was thinking of moving up to their Street Race class, which is headsup. Now for the info I need. What does it take for a GN to run 9 flat on Drag Radials and stock suspension? They have this class that is open to about any thing (AMCs and Olds) but not Buicks. I have been incontact with them and they want me to sumit an idea of what it takes for a Buick to run without letting it dominate the class. I'm just not up on the turbo sizes and other things that we would need for a Buick to run with them. Maybe I'm just an old man out in left field to think we could do this. If so let me know and I will drop it. If someone wants to know more about this, go to the NMCA site (this forum won't let me post the url yet) and check out the rules for Street Race. Thanks for any help.
