I'm trying to convert my TH400 to 200-4R and I've run into some problems.

The shift linkage on the 200 doesn't look the same on the 400, can I just swap the brackets or is there something else I need to do?

What's the best way to fill the trans? And how much? Is Dexron3 ok?

What oil lines on the 200 correspond to the oil lines on the 400?

I'm also having problems with the TV cable, in that the kit I bought from Bowtie Overdrives doesn't work with my kind of quadrajet (Rochester). They show a bracket from GM that holds the throttle and a kickdown cable, anyone know what part number this is?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Background info: 1975 Corvette, Chevy 350ci, has a TH400 now.

Depending on the shifter you're using, you'll need to get OE linkage, or just use a universal cable of the right length.

You'll need a 200-4R fill tube. Dry to full (engine running) is around 12 quarts, depending on your lines, converter, pan, etc. A good, name-brand (Pennzoil, etc.) Dextron II or III should be fine, depending on the clutch setup.

None, I think.
