I just bought a 1987 Grand National and I need a ton of parts to get it running. I have a laundry list if items Ive noticed I need. Hopefully someone can help me find a few parts.
Thanks!

At least he is doing it correctly.

I usually do it backwards - buy a tons of parts - and then look for a car to make the parts run :D .

Got ya. There's a pretty good mechanic in Bloomington. He doesn't do much tuning, but he can repair about anything mechanically.

If you don't have the tuning skills, you'll soon be needing the other skills.:D

Best thing you can do for your car is learn. You've come to the right place. Here's a good place to start.

I actually read some of that before I became a member. An adjustable regulator is definitely going on it, since there wasnt one on there when I bought it. The air intake piping is gone as well as the OEM MAF. I have an LS1 MAF that I will be using with the converter. The owner before last was turning it into a drag car so the original tank and pump is gone. I did get a fuel cell (brand new, unused) that I will be using for the time being. It also needs an alternator among other things that I havent found yet. The shift linkage is messed up too, so I likely need a new shift cable. I can shift it with the column for the time being (doesnt really matter though since it doesnt run. It also has hooker headers (that I read suck on this car) as well as aftermarket blow-off valves and and aftermarket turbo too. I put new spark plugs in it already (those were gone too) and I need to get plug wires as well. Not used to this Turbo stuff but I will figure it out.

Well....Lots of progress getting done on this thing!! Should have it up and running by the end of summer. ;)
All I need now is a 4 inch K&N, Plug wires, main fuel feed line to the rail and some gauges, boost controller........ guess there is more than I thought. A main one I found out is I need t-top seals. I pulled up the carpet on the floor just in front of the rear seats and boom RUST. So I have to pull the interior and make sure floor replacement isnt in order. I dont believe it is that far though.
I found out the reason why the last owner was killing fuel pumps. They had the main line running to the FRP.
