newbie here; what the diff between turbobuick and turbo buicks .com??

I'm new to the turbo buick community, and was wondering whats the deal with the two different websites? I know in other hobbies of mine, or other car interests, the existence of two different boards is often due to differences of opinion on how to best do things, or basic philosophy... eg: one board geared towards all-out racing cars, the other more towards home-built street cars, or one board geared towards only stock-resto type info, while the other is all about modifying the cars, etc. etc. (catch my drift?) I was just wondering if the two sites i see are seperate because of differnt ideologies about how to build turbo 3.8s, or if theres some other reason for it (personal ) . If this is a thread that has been beat to death before i even birthed it, my apologies for stirring it back up, but if someone could shed some light on it for a newbie like me, id appreciate it.

The reason for it is the way the boards are run, this one is meant to be more wholesome and family oriented and the other one is more of an anything goes type format. Both are very useful but are just run different. Don't forget about www.t6p.com which is the newest member of the turbo buick comunity.

FWIW & IMHO:
This might get interesting as this query was posted over on the other board by somebody with your same board name. About 20 responses. I would think that the responses here will be the same and/or similiar as the responses on the other board. You're not doing a statistical analysis on the responses between the boards to determine if there is any favortism between the two, are you? I wouldn't think that there would be. I think that all of these Buick turbo boards fill a vital "missing link" within the Buick community.

Yeah, the thread on the other board was by me as well. I;m the kinda guy that ikes to see both sides of something before jumping on a bandwagon. I'm new to turbo buicks, and new to both of these boards (i actually forgot i registered on this board a few months back to look for GN's for sale, but i think this was my first post here). So i figured I'd find out what the different boards are about. Rather than just take what one board or another says as gospel truth, i figured id see what both ahve to say on the subject before making up my own mind. Absolutely not trying to offend or insult anyone by any means, just a newbie here trying to make up my own mind. Thanks for any and all opinions!
